According to ThinkSecret, Apple a recent seed of Mac OS X 10.3.7 beta, build 7S10, brings some important improvements : "improved compatibility with FireWire drives that failed to mount previously [...], improves DVD Player performance with ATI Radeon 9800 video cards, and fixes an issue with installing the update on systems running Mac OS X 10.3".
This update is to be released by the end of the year and currently weights 25.4Mb.
