LaCie announces support for LightScribe on Mac

According to MacMinute, LaCie announced today at MacWorld, that it is partenering with LightScribe technology from HP to offer a direct labelling feature to its DVD burners. The company also adds support for Mac to its LightScribe software and hardware.

LightScribe is a new, so called, direct labelling technology, by HP, allowing you to burn with laser the label of any CD or DVD right on it, whithout having to print a label separately and stick it.

MacosXrumors had reported in October 2004 that Apple is planing to use this technology in its future products.
