Briefly: TigerDirect case follow-up, new iPod ad, MSN Messenger 5

According to AppleInsider, TigerDirect has lost its preliminary injunction against Apple. TigerDirect had sued Apple over the use of "Tiger" trademark on late April.

Apple has released another new iPod ad, entitled "Pod-lock". The new ad features Daft Punk's "Technologic" song, along with the usual dancing silhouettes. Last week, Apple released another iPod ad featuring “Feel Good Inc.� by Gorillaz.

According to messengerformac.com, which is a site that encourages Microsoft to improve MSN Messenger for Mac, Microsoft is going to release MSN Messenger 5 for Mac on Monday, May 16. The new version of MSN Messenger for Mac will include display pictures support, custom emoticons support, a brushed metal user interface and improved file transfers, among other features.
