Apple has sent invitations to the press and Mac-centric sites for an event that will take place on July the 7th and Apple will make product announcements during the event.
Products that are the more likely to be introduced during this event are new iPods and iTunes 4.9 which will feature a new Podcasting feature. The last time Apple sent a similar invitation of the press, it was to announce the iPod photo.
At the moment, we saw only two french Mac sites reporting that they were invited for the event (MacBidouille and MacGeneration). Don't hesitate to notify us if other press or Mac sites receive such invitations from Apple.
