Apple updates the iPods, drops 1GB iPod shuffle's price

Apple has released a new line of iPods with color screen across the line. By the way, the iPod photo line disappears as it is merged with the iPod line.

The new iPod line consists of two models: one with 20GB hard-drive, priced $299 and one with a 60GB hard-drive, priced $399. The new iPods both have the iPod photo's features with a battery life of 15 hours, USB2 cable and power supply adaptor.

The iPod U2 also gets color screen, it actually has the same technical specs as the entry-level iPod. It is now prices $329 (from $349).

Apple has also dropped the price of the iPod shuffle to $129 (from $149). However, the iPod mini line sees neither updates nor prices changes.
