Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.3 update imminent? (UPDATEx2)

Sources reported that Apple is planning to release Mac OS X 10.4.3 update within the next ten days.

The update will bring hundreds of bug fixes, performance improvements and support for new hardware, according to the reports.

Among the biggest issues that are going to be fixed by this update is a bug with some PowerMac G5 single 1.8Ghz systems that hang when using graphic intensive tasks on current versions of Tiger. The issue was aknowledged by Apple in late September.

We don't know if this new version will ship with the systems that were announced this week though.

UPDATE: Readers report that recently announced systems are shipping with Mac OS X 10.4.2.

UPDATE 2: It is reported that the PowerMac G5 Single 1.8Ghz is actually not fixed in this update.
