New design for Powerbooks and iBooks?

AppleInsider reports that Apple is working on new "eye-catching" designs for its next generation, Intel based Powerbooks and iBooks.

According to the report, the new Powerbooks will have a built-in camera and will be 25% thinner than the current models, while the new iBooks will have a new form factor with a wide 13" display.

The site also speculates that Apple will use a dual-core processor on its Intel-based line of Powerbooks and that the first Intel-based Macs should ship a bit earlier than half 2006.

It has longly been rumoured that Apple was working on a new form factor for its iBooks and it was reported in September that Apple has filed a patent for a laptop with built-in camera.
