Apple announced today that its adding video content from NBC, Sci Fi, USA Shows on iTunes. It also announced that more than 3 million videos were sold during the last two months.
iTunes now offers Law and Order, The Office, Surface, The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Dragnet, Adam-12, Knight Rider (from NBC), Battlestar Galactica, Battlestar Galactica Miniseries (from Sci Fi) and Monk (from USA).
Apple's stock price (AAPL) reached new all time high at $74.83 today on these good news and on positive analyst comments. UBS has raised its estimates for Apple to earnings of $0.58 (from $0.53), and revenue of $5.2B. UBS' target price for Apple's stock is now $86 (from $73). The stock closed at $74.05 and is now trading nearly $74.30 during the after hours trading session.
UPDATE: Apple posted a new Apple/NBC TV ad on its site promoting the new content.
