During MacWorld SF opening Keynote, Steve Jobs announced today that Apple has sold over 14 million iPods and generated record revenue of $5.7 billion for the holidays quarter.
Apple's CEO also said during the keynote that the company has sold over 850 million songs on iTunes and claims 83% of the online music market share. Video sales are also doing well, as Apple has sold over 8 million TV shows in just 2 months.
The only iPod related announcement today was the release of a FM receiver and remote control combo for the iPod nano and the 5G (video-enabled).
In addition, Roz Ho, Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit representant announced that the software giant has signed a commitment agreement to ship Mac versions of its software for at least five years.
The 135 retail stores have also broken their revenue record with more than $1 billion worth of sales this quarter.
Apple's stock hits all time highs at the moment, up nearly 7% to $81.06.
