Apple iPhone for the fourth quarter?

MobileRead notes an article (requires subscription) on Barron's Tiernan Ray bringing evidence that Apple is planning to release an iPhone by the fourth quarter of this year.

Hon Hai Precision, one of the current manufacturers of the iPod nano is even suspected by analyst Johnny Chan (J.P. Morgan), to be negociating on a contract related to the development of this new device.

Apple has been rumoured to be working on its own cell phone since it has announced a partnership with Motorola, allowing the mobile phones maker to use Apple's iTunes on its products.
