"Asteroid" case follow-up

According to CNET, Apple will not file appeal in the "Asteroid" law-suit it filed against rumour sites AppleInsider and PowerPage last year.

By the way, the company is giving up subpoena requests against these sites, regarding information published on a music peripherial code-named "Asteroid". The information was qualified as "trade secrets" by Apple when the company decided to sue the two sites which had posted similar reports.

Meanwhile, Apple continuing its pursuits against ThinkSecret in a separate lawsuit in which the site is accused of having revealed information on forthcoming Apple products.
