iWork '07 to feature spreadsheet application

ThinkSecret recently confirmed long-time rumours that Apple will add a spreadsheet application to its iWork '07 cunsomer office suite. The new application will reportedly be called "Charts" and will target cunsumers and small businesses.

Back in 2002, MacosXrumors was the first to claim that a full office suite replacing AppleWorks was in development, Apple then released a first version of Keynote in January 2003 and Pages early last year. Sources have since reported to MacosXrumors that a spreadsheet application was also on the way and was already being developed before the release of Pages.
