The press have received invitations to a special event that is scheduled by Apple on September the 12th.
The invitation is only stating "It's Showtime", which hints at announcements related to the movie industry.
Analysts expect Apple to announce new line-ups of iPods and an online movie store in the near future.
Meanwhile, recent report claimed a new line-up of iMacs, including a 23" model could be introduced that same day.
