We're day-1 before the Apple-Expo Paris kick-off which will coincide with a media event scheduled by Apple. Here's what is expected and what is not.
As the invitation hints at a hollywood related announcement, many analysts as well as the press believe that the company is on the verge of announcing its own online movie store but with disney movies only.
A "true video iPod" allowing to watch long length movies in a larger display is also widely expected by analysts and rumour sites.
Amazon.com has introduced its online movie store last week. It offers DVD quality movie downloads priced between $7.99 to $14.99. For each purchase, a second version of the movie specially compressed for Microsoft compatible media players can also be downloaded.
Other reports and analysts believe that the iPod nano will also be updated with higher capacities and new enclosures providing more choice on the flavor.
Stay tuned tomorrow as we'll try to cover the event on MacScoop.com. By the way, if any of you can attend the event and can provide us help for our coverage, please drop us a mail here.
