Steve Jobs interviewed on CNBC (UPDATE)

After his keynote presentation for the September 12 media event, Apple's CEO Steve Jobs was interviewed by CNBC on the latest announcements and on Apple's stock options internal probe.

Jobs told that the company is very happy with its iPod sales and has good expectations for the forthcoming quarters. For overall sales, Apple's CEO told "We've never sold this many of anything before, and so we're learning as we go, but so far we're pretty happy."

When questionned on the stock-options irregularities on Apple's finances, Jobs told that Apple did discover some irregularities but is not facing SEC probe and that the current probe is only internal. He added that the internal investigation will be completed "in a not terribly distant future".
