Apple acquires Silicon Color

Silicon Color, the maker of Final Touch color correction software for video professionals, has announced today on its web site that it has been acquired by Apple Computer.
"We are pleased to announce that all Silicon Color technology and intellectual property, including FinalTouch color correction software, was recently sold to Apple. Maintenance agreements held by current Silicon Color customers will be honored by Apple until they expire."
Final Touch is available in three versions : Final Touch 2K, Final Touch SD and Final Touch HD. More information about these products is available on Silicon Color's web site.
