UPDATE: The US Apple online store is now down as well.
Apple has closed it's European online stores. The homepage of Apple's store now shows the usual yellow post-it stating:
"We're busy updating the store for you, we'll be back shortly"
Temporar close of European stores at this moment of the day usually means a product launch is imminent.
Apple is expected to announce a new line-up of MacBooks that should use the Intel Core 2 Duo chips according to several reports.
