Apple seeds Mac OS X Leopard 9A321 build (UPDATE)
UPDATE: Leopard build 9A321 is reportedly adding an "Answering Machine" feature on iChat.
Early this week, Apple has seeded the build 9A321 of Mac OS X Leopard to developers.
The new build fixes several minor bugs and improves performance. No new features have been reported for this build.
A recent report claimed that Apple will replace the Aqua user interface by a new one called "Illuminous". However, reports on Leopard's latest build don't mention any user interface changes.
Mac OS X Leopard is officially scheduled for release by coming Spring.

I hope Steve Jobs didn't lie
I hope Steve Jobs didn't lie about those "super secret" features he promised us for Leopard final.
He doesn't lie he only
He doesn't lie he only exaggerates. It will be very interesting to see if Leopard will have a very different coat from Tiger's. A lot has been made about the lack of uniformity in OS X these days compared to the stoic OS 9. I wouldn't mind a return to apps having the same windows and following the same rules, as in some apps close when the app window is closed and some don't. Confusing for some switchers and Apple's future lies with them.
I would expect the liquidness to disappear like in the scroll bars and be replaced with a harder polished stone or metal look leaving the transparency to window and palettes. The colored buttons will have to stay especially for newcomers unless more obvious symbols are used like Windows' icons for closing, shrinking etc...
I agree the pressure is on for Apple to make a very slick GUI that shows Vista to be a second rate computer nerd's idea of cool.
