iTunes Movies coming in Europe very soon?

According to recent whispers, Apple's iTunes Movies could be on the way for a launch in several European countries very soon.

An undisclosed number of European countries could add localized movies and probably TV shows as well to their iTunes offering very shortly if recent whispers are true.

The french online publication MacPlus.net even claims to have "sources close to the case" claiming Movies are coming "very soon". We could assume that France is among the countries that will get the Movies offering first in Europe.

Apple has started offering movies on its U.S. iTunes Music Store - renamed iTunes Store at the occasion - on September 2006 when it unveiled the feature set of the Apple TV during a Special Event.

The Apple TV, formerly code-named "iTV" was launched earlier this month by Apple after a few weeks of delay. However, the device - which allows you to stream your iTunes library and your pictures to your living room's wide screen TV - faces serious lack of video content for the moment, especially in Europe where iTunes mainly sells songs.
