Apple has scheduled its Q2 (or calendar Q1) Financial results Conference on April 25 at 2 p.m. PT (or 5 p.m. ET). The event will be web-casted through the company's web site.

Analysts expect the company to beat guidance ($4.8-$4.9 billion) for this quarter on steady sales for both Mac and iPod product lines. Average estimates in term of unit sales are 1.4-1.5 million Macs and 10 million iPods. Revenue and earnings estimates are respectively at around $5.5 billion and $0.63 per share.

Unit sales for the iPod should remain strong thanks to the introduction of new flavors for the iPod shuffle while Mac sales should see some minor margin and unit sales boost in the high-end line-up thanks to the release of the 8-Core Mac Pro and approaching availability of Adobe Creative Suite 2.

In addition, this quarter includes one month of Apple TV shipments. Though the company may not necessary provide exact figures of Apple TV sales, we'll probably have some hints at them through the iPod division's accessory sales.

As good as it may be, this quarter should not reach last quarter's revenue and earnings records of respectively, $7.1 billion and $1 billion.

MacScoop will provide coverage on next week's Apple's Q2 Financial Results conference.
