Apple Expo 2007 registration open

Apple has recently started taking registration for Apple Expo 2007, the Paris - Porte de Versailles based Apple show which takes place on September 25-29.

Like every year, registration is free. Registered visitors will receive a free electronic badge immediately after their registration is done, those who haven't registered will have to pay a small fee so as to enter the show.

No mention on any keynote registration though. The company might start the special registration later this year. Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs is not necessary performing the opening keynote if any.

Jobs used to present the keynote during the first years after he came back to Apple but was replaced by Phil Schiller and other Apple execs for the last couple of years.

Apple Expo is usually the occasion of minor product launches, with the most important being PowerBook and iMac line-up refreshes, respectively in 2003 and 2005, or the availability of Mac OS X Public Beta in 2000.

Last year, the company launched its revamped iMac line-up featuring Core 2 Duo processors and a new 24 inch model. However, the launch the new products was done during a separate event which took place in the U.S.
