While it appears that crowd is already lining up or camping at the 5th avenue NYC Apple store for the launch of the iPhone on June 29th at 6 p.m. (Pacific), here's a quick summary of the iPhone news of the beginning of this week.
An unlimited data plan for the iPhone?
According to TheBoyGeniusReport, AT&T will unveil a new data plan for the iPhone that will cost a $34.99~$44.99 monthly fee and will provide unlimited data download and possibly unlimited text messages.
Accessories for the iPhone
Apple and AT&T stores should already be offering iPhone accessories for purchase at their stores for the day of launch. Among them, third party cases and protective gear, and Apple headset/mike ($29) and Bluetooth headset ($129!).
Hands-on test
Engadget claims to have a source who tested the phone and provides some details. The source says the keyboard and auto-correction are disappointing, the touch-screen needs some time to get used to, the bluetooth headset is very small and has a MagSafe kind charging interface.
Also noteworthy are some earlier MacScoop reports [1] [2] about the iPhone.

I certainly hope that they
I certainly hope that they do include a no-limits data plan - that would be the only thing they could do to make iPhone gen 1 any better IMHO. I hope they do the same in Europe when it finally makes its way here!
