Apple posts MacBook pro Software update

Apple has posted a software update for its latest MacBook Pro 2.2Ghz and 2.4Ghz line-up.

Here is the description provided by Apple for the MacBook Pro Software Update 1.0:

- This update provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all 2.2/2.4GHz MacBook Pro models.

This update requires Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later.

It appears that this update brings better support for the new MacBook Pro's GPUs. You may expect performance improvements on software using 3D after updating.

The update weights 14.7MB and is available either through the Software Update utility or through Apple's supprot web site.
