T-Mobile to sell unlocked iPhones in Germany for 999€

T-Mobile announced today it will sell unlocked iPhones in Germany for 999€ or nearly $1500.

The company was under pressure after its biggest competitor in the county, Vodafon obtained an injunction ordering it to allow its customers to buy the iPhone separately from its mobile voice and data subscription plans.

The unlocked iPhone comes however at a prohibitive price of 999€ or around $1480 compared to 399€ for a version locked with T-Mobile and only $399 from AT&T in the U.S.A.
