Briefly: iPhone ads, iPhone Firmware, iLife, Airport updates

Apple has posted three new iPhone ads on its web site, seeded a new iPhone Firmware and SDK to developers and released some software updates as well.

New iPhone ads

The iPhone 3G marketing machine has just started with these three new ads made available this week on Apple's web site.

- Everyone
- Unslow
- Work Friendly

A first iPhone 3G ad, called Halway was introduced during the World Wide Developers Conference.

iPhone Firmware and SDK updates

Apple has posted seeded a firmware update for the iPhone 3G, to developers bringing it to verrsion 2.1 and improving GPS.

A new SDK is also available to developers.

Software updates

All the iLife applications, including iPhoto, iDVD, iMovie, iWeb and iLife have been updated:

- iPhoto 7.1.4
- iMovie 7.1.4
- iLife Support 8.3
- iWeb 2.0.4

In addition, Apple has posted an update for its Airport Extreme Base software numbered 2008-002.

Last week, the company also posted updated HP drivers for Mac OS X.

All of these updates are availale either through the Software Update utility or through Apple's support web site.
