According to TheMacObserver, Apple has sued over leaked information that involves an audio product that was rumoured in three websites mentioned by Apple's civil complaint.

Apple has posted two firmware updates for Airport Express (v6.1.1) and Airport Extreme (v5.5.1). Both improve hardware reset and correct various bugs.

MacRumors points out an interesting article on a Chinese site Apple Daily. The article claims that ASUSTek will manufacture the long rumoured flash based iPod.

According to MacMinute, on Friday, Apple has sued anonymous individuals (or company) over leaking inside information about unreleased Apple products and spreading it to web sites.

Mac OS X 10.3.7 has been released through the Software Update utility. The update weights 26.4MB and brings the following enhancements :

According to theInquirer, the new version of the XBox 2 development kit being sent to developers. The new kit includes a PowerMac G5 running a special version of Windows for PowerPC and includes a R500 graphic card.

TheMacMind has posted on its site some pictures of a 3D mock-up of what they think the Apple's rumoured iPod flash will look like.

According to CaféMacs, Apple has seeded a new Tiger beta, build 8A323. There is no information about its improvements yet though. We'll keep you informed as soon as we know more.

Apple's PowerBook line has not been updated since April 2004 and Apple had even officially announced that there would be no update to them until the end of the year. Reasons were said to be the fact the PowerPC G4 processors used in the current line of PowerBooks cannot exceed the speed of 1.5Ghz and that's also what Freescale's specifications say. Meanwhile, Sonnet Technologies has recently announced a new processor upgrade for the PowerMac and the Cube. This new upgrade surprisingly brings the processor speed to 1.7Ghz.

Apple has posted a job request on its web site to hire an "iPod Xcode Engineer for Embedded Systems". Does that mean an iPod software developmeent kit is in the works?
