At the end of today's MacWorld SF 2007 opening keynote, Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs, announced that the company would change its name so as to better reflect what it does.

The company formerly names "Apple Computer Inc." will now be named "Apple Inc.".

No iLife '07 release for MacWorld?

Sources indicated to MacScoop that Apple does not plan to release iLife '07 during MacWorld SF - as it's been doing every year - but next Spring, alongside Leopard.

No "i" on Apple mobile phone and iTV definitive names?

For months now, all of the IT ecosystem is waiting for Apple to release a mobile phone and a living-room entertainment appliance. The last one has already been officially announced under the temporary "iTV" name back in September 2006. But if the latest report MacScoop obtained is true, then it looks like no one has guessed the definitive names that Apple will give to these devices yet.
