The matte-screen version of the MacBook Pro seems to be the most affected by various display issues that users encounter after waking up the computer from sleep mode or when trying to change screen resolution.

Other users report noise coming from the display panel, dead pixels, grainy picture and other flaws related to the MacBook Pro's built-in display as well as its DVI output.

Meanwhile, a MacBidouille [2] reader is claiming he has been informed by retail sources that Apple has temporarily halted the production of the matte-screen version of the MacBook Pro. However, the site claims that only a few readers have reported this issue and believes that only a small part of the production is affected.
