Apple won't use Samsung's HDD technology
APCMag published [1] an interview of Samsung's CEO. One of the topics related was the use of flash memory to increase boot, wake-up and application launch performance on computes. .. told that Apple was not interested in its HDD technology which consists of hard disks that have their built-in Flash modules.
This hints at Apple using the Intel Robson technology which consists of a special connector on the motherboard that can accept Flash modules of up to 2GB.
Two new iPod games available
Earlier this week, Apple has made available two new games for the iPod through the iTunes music store games section.
The first is an implementation of the famous game Sudoku while the second, is Royal Solitaire, another very known card game implemented in 10 versions (Aces Up, Beleaguered Castle, Canfield, FreeCell, Golf, Klondike, Peaks, Pyramid, Scorpion, and Yukon).
The new games are made by Electronic Arts and cost the same price as the previously released ones, $4.99.
New Apple ads
Apple has recently started airing new Apple ads on the Christmas theme.
The first is Goodwill a new Get-A-Mac ad [2] with the now famous Mac and PC characters. It follows two other Christmas themed ads (Gift added earlier this month.
The second is not a Get-A-Mac ad, and it's not even present on Apple's web site but has been aired in the U.S., according to Wired [3].
