Apple's suit deals with leaked information on an audio product

Submitted by Alexandros Roussos on Tue, 2004-12-21 09:37

According to TheMacObserver, Apple has sued over leaked information that involves an audio product that was rumoured in three websites mentioned by Apple's civil complaint.

The product in question is said to be a hardware audio interface device that will mainly be dedicated to Apple's consumer audio software, GarageBand.

In one of its early stories, macosXrumors had also posted some information, from anonymous sources, related to a consumer piece of software that would come with a hardware audio interface. At the time, Apple had not yet released GarageBand and had recently bought E-Magic. This information however wasn't very precise and is not very close to the reality. Rather it now sounds like the sources had speculated.
