On Tuesday, Apple has dropped prices on the Mac mini [2]'s BTO options: the Bluetooth and AirPort Extreme wireless option now costs US$99 (instead of $129), the 1GB DDR333 SDRAM upgrade is for $325 (instead of $475), and the 80GB hard drive upgrade is for $50 (instead of $80). A typo showed 8X speed instead of 4X for the SuperDrive option but now it has been changed again to 4X. The Mac mini's success is now undeniable but Apple is apparently not able to ship in enough quantities while Target has more recently dropped the Mac mini from its online store, claiming it can't ship it.
