"Graphulator" and "Bonjour" trademarks

Submitted by Alexandros Roussos on Sat, 2005-02-19 09:19

MacRumors reports that Apple has filed two new trademarks at the US Patent and Trademark office.

The first is "Graphulator" which will probably be the name of the graphing calculator application, based on Curvus Pro, that Apple will add on Tiger.

The second is "Bonjour" and will be the replacement name to "Rendezvous" which was subject of a law suit between Apple and TIBCO Software Inc. last year. TIBCO Software Inc. already owned the trademark "Rendezvous" and asked Apple to stop using it.

The latest Tiger build 8A385 reflects the trademark change for "Rendezvous", now mentioned as "Bonjour" on the user interface.
