Bottom Mounted Optical Drive patent

Reports highlighted [1] a recent patent filed by Apple. It describes the possibility to mount an optical drive on the bottom of a notebook. This technique is intended to allow the making of thinner notebooks.

WWDC 2007

According to AppleInsider, the World Wide Developers Conference 2007 will take place in San Fransisco on June 10-15. Steve Jobs' Keynote presentation is reportedly set for June the 11th.

XServe RAID quietly updated

Apple has quietly updated [2] its XServe RAID. The storage server can now be configured with 10.5TB of storage.
