Here's a brief catch-up with the news we missed during the last three days:

Lionsgate brings its Movies to iTunes

As revealed during the MacWorld SF keynote opening on January 9, Apple and Lionsgate announced today in a joint statement that more than 150 movies from the movie studio would be available on iTunes by the end of the month.

Among the most known of them are “Total Recall,” “Rambo,” “Monster’s Ball," “Chaplin” and “The Boys From Brazil.”

All the movies will be available for $9.99 (US) each, in "near-dvd quality" and 640 by up to 480 pixels resolution.

Apple TV, late February?

Many reports pointed out late last week that Apple had delayed the release of the Apple TV appliance it announced in early January to March, as some reseller orders stated.

The Apple TV - which lets users store or stream content bought or loaded on iTunes to their living-room TV through a 802.11n wireless connection - is now expected to ship on late February, according to a statement made by an Apple Store rep.

Boston and Melbourne stores this year?

According to two distinct reports, respectively published on Boston.com and IfoAppleStore, Apple is planning to open two flagship stores in Boston, USA and Melbourne, AU.

Both of the stores appear to have high-profile architectural design, similar to the New Tork 5th avenue store which generated a lot of buzz when it was opened last year.
