BMW first to bring iPod-car integration?

According to Autopsies, BMW could be the first car-maker to bring iPhone integration to their high-end cars.

The iPod connector has already widely been adopted by the car industry during the last two years with around 70% of car makers supporting Apple's digital music player this year.

The fact that the iPhone uses the same connector as the iPod will probably make it easy for car-makers to quickly bring at least integration with the iPhone's "iPod" mode.

But integration of the iPhone in BMW could go way further, according to the report.

However there is no track record on Autopsies regarding Apple rumours so this can be considered as simple speculation for the moment.
