Introducing MacScoop V2.0!

About six months after the successful launch of MacScoop.com [1] and after a few hours of overnight maintenance, we're proud to introduce the version 2.0.

New design, new logo

MacScoop Version 2.0 features a totally revamped design which focuses on usability and brings an eye-pleasing fresh look to the publication. MacosXrumors [2] keeps the new "Aqua" look introduced a few days after the release of MacScoop.

A new logo has also been designed for MacScoop and for all the sites of the MacCulture Network [3], including MacosXrumors.

Better content differentiation

In terms of content, MacosXrumors and MacScoop are now more independent as they don't share exactly the same content. MacosXrumors will now show-up only software related stories while MacScoop will show more general information and will stop relating very specific software news such as minor software updates. However, the two sites keep sharing the same forums.

Paving the way for new features

Behind these astheatical and content-related changes, MacScoop is now powered by an upgraded content management system, paving the way for forthcoming sexy new features. We just need a few weeks to test them before they go on production :).

Most of the enhancements we decided to make on MacScoop are based on readers feedback so thank you for helping us to improve the site, we remain open to further improvements so don't hesitate to drop us a mail if you think we could improve something.

Stay tuned as we plan to catch-up with the news now the maintenance works are finished.
