UPDATE: US and worldwide Apple online stores [2] are now closed as well.

Apple has temporarily closed its European online Apple stores for update.

The usual post-it saying "We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly" appears in place of the products.

As recently reported [3] on MacScoop, the company is expected to release new MacBook Pros this Tuesday.

Other updates could also arrive today. Among non-updated line-ups are the iMac and the Mac mini.
