You can now watch some of Apple's new "high technology" animated for the iPhone. A demo for the YouTube feature has also been posted yesterday.

"QuickTours" (mini QuickTime movies) of some iPhone High Technology can be viewed. Some of the technology shown includes: Multi-Touch, OS X, and Wireless and Sensors, which includes the accelerometer and proximity sensor demonstration.

Of particular interest is the QuickTour of the Multi-touch technology. One sees a the various layers of the touch screen separated visually. The layers include the protective shield, the capcitive touch panel and the tft lcd display.

The demonstration shows a floating circle representing where your finger contacts the display. As the circle moves around, you are shown how the display "senses" your touch using "electrical fields."

Another demo shows the benefit of multi tasking in OS X on the iPhone. For example, the QuickTour movie of OS X claims, "all at the same time" you can make a phone call - while emailing a photo - while surfing the web.

Will the technology work and live up to the hype?

Notice you can also see a demo of the recently announced YouTube feature on this page.
