Apple is expected to release updates for both Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard in the near future, several reports indicate.
During the last few weeks, the company has seeded builds for Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11 (Client and Server) and for Leopard 10.5.1 (Client) to developers.
The update for Tiger brings several bug fixes mainly on Safari, Dashboard, Automator and DiskImages Framework.
Leopard brings improvements on the following components: AirPort, Back To My Mac, Bonjour, DiskImages, Disk Utility, FileVault, Finder, Firewall, Graphics & Games, iCal, Keychain Access, Mail, Networking, QuickDraw, Time Machine, Windows File Sharing.
The latest iteration of Apple's operating systems suffers from a few major bugs in file copying and on the newly added Time Machine backup feature. Hopefully these bugs will be squashed with the 10.5.1 release.
