Apple announced through a press release [1] earlier today that Andrea Jung is joining Apple's board.

Since 1999, Jung is CEO and Chief Executive of Avon Products, a cosmetics company which operates in more than 135 countries.

Jung is also on General Electric's board. She will be the 8th member of Apple's board.
