Amazon has, probably unintentionally, revealed the specifications of Apple's new PowerMac line.

An announcement message is inviting visitors to order one of the new PowerMacs in the online retailer's computers section [1] :

"Introducing the most powerful Apple desktops yet: The new 2.0 GHz, 2.3 GHz, and 2.7 GHz dual-processor Power Macs. Order yours today."

The three configurations listed in the computers section [2] are :

PowerMac G5 Dual 2Ghz [3]:
- Mac OS X10.4, code named Tiger
- Dual 2.0 GHz PowerPC G5 processors
- 512 MB of DDR SDRAM
- 160 GB hard drive
- 16x Dual Layer SuperDrive (CD/DVD+RW)

PowerMac G5 Dual 2.3GHz [4]:
- Mac OS X10.4, code named Tiger
- Dual 2.3 GHz PowerPC G5 processors
- 512 MB of DDR SDRAM
- 250 GB hard drive
- 16x Dual Layer SuperDrive (CD/DVD+RW)

PowerMac G5 Dual 2.7Ghz [5]:
- Mac OS X10.4, code named Tiger
- Dual 2.7 GHz PowerPC G5 processors
- 512 MB of DDR SDRAM
- 250 GB hard drive
- 16x Dual Layer SuperDrive (CD/DVD+RW)

The three PowerMacs are respectively priced $1994.99, $2494.99 and $2994.99, including a rebate of $30.
