Tiger is officially available [1] today, at 6 p.m., at Apple retail stores and at many resellers who have organized special events for the occasion. The first copies of Tiger, ordered on Apple's online stores, had already started being delivered last week. Most of the orders made the first and the second day of the pre-ordering open, arrived yesterday and are still arriving today though. Since late March, Amazon offers [2] a $35 rebate for Tiger orders bringing its price to $94.99. The offer ends on May the 31st.

Apple has updated [3] its .Mac services with new features dedicated to Tiger ("new syncing, Addressbook Sharing, Dashboard Widgets, .Mac Mail features and more"). The .Mac service is now available as a family pack.

Apple has also opened three new sections dedicated to Tiger: a Dashboard Widgets [4] section, a Spotlight Plug-ins [5] section and an Automator Actions [6] section. These sections provide some third-party additions to Tiger's new features.
