Here are some news we missed this week:

O2 to sell the iPhone in Ireland

O2 announced it has signed with Apple over the exclusivity on the iPhone in Ireland. The iPhone will start selling with O2 in Ireland on March 14.

Its plans range from 45€/mo (175 minutes / 100 SMS) to 100€/mo (700 minutes / 250 SMS) with a data download limit of 1GB.

New iPod touch ad

Apple aired a new TV ad for the iPod touch during the American Idol TV show. The ad features Brendan Benson's "What I'm Looking For" and is available on Apple's web site [1].

iPhone software 1.1.4 jailbreak

Less than a week after its release, the 1.1.4 version of the iPhone's software is already jailbroken. Actually Apple did not make any changes in its software update so as to make it incompatible with jailbreak tools.

One of the most easy to use iPhone jailbreak tool is Ziphone [2], it allows users of locked iPhones to unlock, jailbreak them and even change the EMEI number in one click.
