UPDATE: Quite a disappointment for those who were waiting for the iMac and Mac mini updates but great news for video pros, Apple now ships Final Cut Server. The store is back online.
Apple has temporarily closed its U.S. online store [1], which is usually a sign of imminent product updates.
The usual "We'll ba back soon" yellow post-it appears on the store, followed by a message informing visitors that the store will be back shortly:
[2]"We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly."
Apple is usually releasing new products on Tuesdays so this shouldn't be a maintenance down-time.
On March 7, MacScoop reported [3] that Apple would update the iMac and the Mac mini with Penryn processors within the next four weeks. So the most likely to happen today is that Apple releases those updated lineups.
Stay tuned, as MacScoop will keep you updated as soon as the store re-opens.
