The iPhone will be available in Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey, according to the announcement [1] certainly in its 3G version.

The iPhone is already available in the US, UK, Germany, France, Austria and Ireland and has also been officially announced in Italy with T-Mobile and Canada with Rogers.

Telecom Italia confirmed the recently announced deal with Apple on the distribution of the iPhone in Italy just after Vodafon's announcement today, which means that both carriers will provide the iPhone in the country.

Deals for China and Japan have also been rumoured to be on the way, while there have also been repeated speculation on the arrival of the iPhone in Belgium.
