Apple has filed the trademark "Numbers" on June the 8th, as notices AppleInsider [1]. The description of the trademark is "computer software".

It's sounds obvious that such a trademark could be used for a spreadsheet software that has been rumoured for a while. It's actually one of the first rumours we had published [2] back in 2002.

Since that time, while Apple released Keynote then Pages and the iWork suite, no official confirmation came, except for some interesting clues that readers sent us.
