According to T3 [1], an online gadgets related magazine, Apple is planning to release new iPod shuffles with storage capacity of 2GB and 4GB as well as a new 8GB iPod mini.

The site had already rumoured that 2GB and 4GB were on the way, that's also what Digitimes has claimed [2]. MacosXrumors also published [3] some information about the forthcoming iPod shuffles recenlty, sources had claimed that Apple would release a 2GB iPod shuffle with a display.

As for the 8GB iPod mini, the first clue that such a product would arrive soon came from the recent announcement [4] from Seagate that it will release an 8GB 1" hard drive.
