Apple preparing to enter the online video market?
The Business 2.0 Blog claims that Apple is currently in talks with Disney to sell its video content on a future online video store.
Here is what their source said:
Steve Jobs has spoken with Disney President and soon-to-be CEO Bob Iger about ways to license various Disney content for a video iPod, according to an internal Disney email I have obtained. That could include anything from clips from ESPN and ABC News to short cartoons.
Another hint showing that Apple would like to enter the online video sales arena is its partnership with Intel which has invested on Clickstar, which is an online video shop start-up. Recently, Apple was also rumoured to be planning to open a musi videos store, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
PBS' Robert X. Cringely provides an interesting commentary about Apple/Intel while MacWorld lists the hints that opened speculation on a video store secret plan from Apple.
