As notes AppleInsider, David Hyats' blog provides new information about future improvements on Safari and the WebKit API. The member of the Safari developers team claims that there will be improvements in CSS support and in Javascript, which will also be improved in terms of speed (about 10%).
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution announced yesterday that Cobb County's board has dropped the deal between Apple and the schools. The deal, which involved as much as 63 000 iBooks, was announced in February this year and was confirmed in May.
As notes Engadget, Apple has modified its trademark filing for the iPod. The device now adds mentions to "video" related features into its description. Apple has been longly rumoured to be working on a video-enabled iPod, especially since the company started providing video clips through its music store and video playback capability to iTunes.
