Apple announced today that there will be no keynote address at Apple Expo Paris. Those who had registered for Steve Jobs' keynote, which was schedued to take place at Palais des Congrés on September the 20th, received an e-mail from Apple stating:

"Dear visitor,

Thank you for registering for Apple Expo 2005, a five-day event that gives all a chance to try new products from Apple and over 250 companies.

Apple Expo will begin at 11 a.m. (CET) Tuesday, September 20 at the Porte de Versailles in Paris. There will not be a formal keynote presentation at this year's Apple Expo at Palais des Congrès.

We look forward to seeing you.

Kind regards,
The Apple Expo team

There is no official word on the reasons why the keynote has been cancelled, we may guess that Apple prefered to make most of its announcements during the Special Event scheduled [1] on September the 7th.
